This is Max making a notebook with Emily.  It was lovely to see Max so focused on doing something, making something with his hands and not playing on a computer.  Not that I think there is anything wrong with using computers, it’s well, not the same as making something with your hands.

He was so proud of his first notebook, and that makes me feel proud and lucky to have such an amazing person in my life.  I feel the same about Emily, who inspired Max to do something exciting, and has inspired me so much in the past 2 months.

Getting very excited about The Simonsound playing at Lounge on the farm in a few weeks.  In the mean time you might like to check out The Lounge on the farm mixtape - it’s free and has a Simonsound track on it too.

Get the mixtape.

Developed by Dr. Harold Edgerton in the 1940s, the Rapatronic photographic technique allowed very early times in a nuclear explosion’s fireball growth to be recorded on film. The exposures were often as short as 10 nanoseconds, and each Rapatronic camera would take exactly one photograph.
